Privacy Policy
The short version
Chess Coach is made by Super Duper, and it is built to know as little about you as it can. There are no accounts and no selling of your data, though it does show ads — see Analytics and tracking below for what that involves. This page lays out exactly what the app touches.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account or hand over personal details to use the app. To deliver its core features the app exchanges the minimum data described below with the services it relies on, and never bundles that with an identity or an advertising profile.
AI features
When you use the coaching features, the messages you send are passed to a third-party AI provider through a secure connection so a response can be generated and returned to you. Send only what you are comfortable sharing. These messages are used to answer you, not to advertise to you, and conversations are kept on your device rather than on a server we run.
Purchases
Apple handles payments and card details through the App Store. RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement information so the app can unlock and restore your purchase. Neither we nor RevenueCat sees your card details.
Analytics and tracking
Chess Coach shows ads served by Google AdMob to keep the app free. AdMob may use an advertising identifier and other technical data to select and measure ads, and — where required — the app asks for your consent before requesting personalised ads. RevenueCat also receives ad impression and revenue events, tied to an anonymous app user ID rather than to you, so we can see how the app is doing. We do not otherwise use tracking SDKs, and we do not build our own profile of you.
Children
These apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where an app is intended for younger users, it is designed so that no personal data needs to be collected at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
